Ascent

We climb
We fall
Slowly, we rise, back to where we were before
And yet
We are stronger
We have new wisdom
And if we haven't learned anything,
We have fallen further than before
When we can't climb further up,
Do we stop?
Or do we just slow down

We leave home, but go to work

On the journey of living, what are we coming to?
